When a driver goes in high and then comes off the corner low using the momentum to get a run down the straight is the best way I can explain. Maybe a driver can get on here and answer it better.
Pretty much, Kevin. I hope the op were at Kokomo to follow my example but last night you would see Windom and others go into 1 already on or sometimes above the lip but still exit 2 on the high side. Then stay high getting into 3, usually above the lip, then turn it back under before ever getting into 4. You break momentum for a moment but get a killer drive down the bank, and when aimed properly can take a straight(er) line getting through 4 into the front stretch. "Diamond off " instead of rim riding the cushion all the way around both 3 & 4.
