Is hands down the worst race track website i've ever used. So from what i gather from the site is that the usac sprint show is Wed. 7/13. Doesn't tell me what time... doesn't tell me how much... I guess i am just supposed to "know". Going to the fair site is even worse. All i know about the fair is that its free to park before 4pm. Any help out there?

Sorry you had problems finding necessary info for Sprint Week. Be advised that Terre Haute now hosts only six racing events per year and that includes one Mod/LM only and one Champ car show. The operators are far removed from the operation except for those few dates. That may be a precursor of things to come as to the best of my knowledge only one Indiana sprint car track now runs every week of the normal season and at least one of their events is minus sprint cars. The others are showing holes in their schedules along with shorter schedules. Anyway, the tickets are $25 (less $5 for Hoosier Auto Racing Fans Members) To the best of my knowledge there are no reserved seats other than handicapped but they have a ton of seating (boards, you might want a cushion) and you can see about the same from everywhere. The main grandstand is covered. Good latrines and close to Fair food. You can carry about anything in (including alcohol). Plenty of RV parking. Some with w/e hookups ($) (might want to call Fairgrounds ahead for hookup sites). The Sprint Week race occurs during the Vigo County Fair and the track is within the fairgrounds so you may have to park some distance from the track. As mentioned, if you arrive after 4PM they have a charge for parking (this race only. not sure if its $4 or$5) Be patient when leaving. Lots of traffic.
Hot laps are normally at 6:30 with racing at 7:30 (maybe 8) Track is located about a mile south of I-70 on US41 on west side of highway.
Congested area. If I'm wrong on any of this I'm sure someone will correct me.

Hey, I can only put up the information they give me. I don't have any problems with Kokomo or Gas City displaying that info.
While understandable gripe, I don't get the rant. Are your trying to figure if you can make it after work?
About all the ISW races start hot laps and qualifying at six or six thirty With racing at seven or seven thirty. Id suggest arriving at the earlier time to be sure.
Tri State is Central time (Chicago Time) all others are Eastern (New York Time)
Terre Haute is a track you can still get a good seat late arriving, Parking I have no idea. I ususally get there way early and bench race. Sprint Week is more crowded during fair week than not and gets some non regular fan and new attendees.

So in the time it took you to complain in two different posts you could have called the number or filled out the contact form and had your answer. You wouldn't have received any attention that way though.
Thanks, for the info... I wasn't looking for "attention" but i can tell you that the website didn't look anything like that last week. The reason i was looking for prices was i would rather not spend $75 to take my wife and kid (neither of which is totally into racing) so i could use that money and stay at a nicer hotel that night like one with a pool. Then i would go to the track myself. As it stands now the only tracks they or my daughter are going to will be Lawrenceburg, Plymouth, and Bloomington. We will see about where we end up on the drive home Saturday. I mean geez guys, you gotta admit $600 is alittle steep in gate fees. If i was coming by myself i would fire up a tent and sleep in the parking lot. Well anyway, i will try not to rant anymore. Thanks. See you at the track.
