RT@USAC Racing @USACNation Hmm...what could Doug Boles and Levi Jones be discussing in this picture, taken at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway? |

So what would be the stands. The turn three stands? They'd be 200 yards from the track.
IDK, My Glass half empty meter is twitching and I'd like to see it switch to half full, But it would have to be in a manner that helps Indiana Sprints and Midgets and not takes away or further over saturates the number of tracks. Maybe a replica of 16th street speedway. Yeah the ballpark won't be the setting but its a tie to recent history. At least the shape of the track would be a challenge for a year or two, The top teams have our local tracks dialed in. LBurg's tried once or twice to put a higher to win on sprint week, But its a hit anyway so why spend extra? Id love to see a couple tracks put a bit more for the racers to end the week. Just like Eldora does for Ohio Sprint Speedweek. Oh well, Time will tell. The way the story reads is its temporary or flat so they can still use it for IMS events.

I would imagine they would bring in temp stands.
Can we now bring the Hut 100 back to Indiana where it belongs? |

The "hut hundred" belongs at one place really, thus the "hut", and that's Terre Haute. Just a matter of getting the cars which seems unlikely due to the unstable climate of midget racing and the fact some folks on here think midgets shouldn't be run on anything bigger than a hockey rink.

Since it's been held at LPS,the Haub, old 'burg Granite City Il and a version at the Indy Mile....I don't think having it at the Speedway would be rocking the boat too much.

Think I'll try to sneak over with the Zonker and run a few laps; I can practically push it there from my house...
