I know it's summer and racing is going full blast now, but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the winter heat series at cocopah speedway in Yuma AZ. Usually by now I've seen some promotion for it so folks make plans to attend. I was fortunate enough to attend the first one, but couldn't make last year due to a job change and no vacation time. And it's a wing series so some of the less open minded folks on here don't care, but it was a great event. The facility is absolutely top notch and the weather was great. It would be ashamed if they didn't continue the tradition. Looking forward to any info

Greg Burgeres (sp) the promoter at Cocopah who was behind the Winter Heat Series left after last years event to take another promoter job at another track. Seeing how there has been no communication since I imagine it is dead. It is a shame as I thought the series gave a great off season opportunity for the racers and fans.
