LAWRENCEBURG INDIANA MIDGET WEEK EVENT RAINED OUT

Saturday night’s USAC Midget National Championship event at Lawrenceburg Speedway has been cancelled due to rain with more precipitation forecasted throughout the day and into the evening.

The event was to be round five of the 12th annual Indiana Midget Week presented by Jonathan Byrd’s Hospitality & Restaurant Group.* Furthermore, the race was scheduled be the opener for the inaugural “Jonathan Byrd’s Indy Challenge.”* The challenge resumes on August 6 at the “Belleville Midget Nationals” at the Belleville (Kans.) High Banks.

Indiana Midget Week resumes Sunday, June 5 with its finale at Kokomo Speedway.* Bryan Clauson holds a 40-point advantage over Spencer Bayston in the “Midget Week” standings.
