Not all tracks need to have a bunch of classes to make ends meet.
The Action Track in PA runs three classes. STR midgets, nonwing 600 micro sprints and Slingshots. Two of the three classes are spec cars designed and built by Tobias racing, the 600's run local rules.
118 cars at their race last Wednesday. 31 midgets, 36 slingshots and 51 600's.
My hats off to Richie Tobias. In a land of dwindling car counts he's rocking it pretty good. He could have easily turned his back on racing when his dad was killed in a usac sprint.
