Angell Park Speedway Opener May 22

Sun Prairie, WI – Sunday, May 22nd will serve as Angell Park Speedway’s season opener, featuring the Bumper-to-Bumper IRA Sprint Cars, Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie / Mid-State Equipment Badger Midgets, and My Race Pass Badger Micros. One of five events featuring the Bumper-to-Bumper IRA Sprint cars, the historic 1/3rd mile puts on an action-packed sprint car show. In 2015, fans saw Parker Price-Miller, Jeremy Schultz, Scotty Neitzel, and Bill Balog take victories with the IRA.

Serving as the season opener for the Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie / Mid-State Equipment Badger Midgets and the My Race Pass Badger 600cc Micro Series, Sunday, May 22nd will kick off 2016 as the 80th anniversary for BMARA. In 2015 fans saw increased car counts for the Badger Midgets after the implementation of their engine rule. Look for stable car counts throughout 2016 as the rules package was voted to stay. Jake Neuman, David Budres, and Brandon Waelti, and Bill Balog took wins with Badger throughout 2015.

I didn't think the IRA would be a good show at AP but they have proved me wrong with the new layout a couple of years ago. Definetly worth checking out if you are in the area.
