GLSS has canceled their inaugural event at I-96 Speedway tonight. Not surprising I-96 canceled. They say they are flooded.

Saturday: SOD, with their new unlimited engine displacement formula, is still on for Crystal. GLSS is on for Owendale. Butler will be on for their weekly show where they had a really good crowd last week. By the time the A Main for sprints finished at 1:00 a.m., the crowd had dwindled.

But with respect to the forum thread pertaining to the back and forth verbal wrestling wherein Plymouth Speedway added mods to tonight's show, and some feel the show is going to be dragged out not only by the mods, but by the condition of the track with mods added, SOD got in front of this for tomorrow night at Crystal Motor Speedway where it is going to be cold. Check this statement out from SOD:

Saturday’s opening race at Crystal WILL NOT BE CANCELED DUE TO COLD WEATHER. Due to pending cold temperatures, the entire program will be run as quickly as possible. After SOD preliminary events are completed, one or to Crystal classes will run preliminary events to allow SOD competitors time to prepare for our feature. The SOD feature will then be run as soon as possible. Please be prepared to race with very little down time.

Plymouth Speedway may have been able to head off all negative comments/posts by getting right up front and doing something of the sort for tonight's show and who runs first. It would have minimized a lot of negative comments for what might be a great night at the Playground of Power.

Just an observation from a guy who has tonight and the weekend off....
