IMRA MIDGETS AT 34 RACEWAY SATURDAY; ANDY BAUGH #1 AT SPOON RIVER

The USAC IMRA Midget Series makes its inaugural appearance of the 2016 season at 34 Raceway in Burlington, Iowa following a pair of races at Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Illinois.* It’s USAC’s first appearance at Burlington since Dave Darland’s National Sprint Car win in 2013. Bryan Clauson won USAC’s last Midget race at 34 Raceway in 2010.

Mitchell Davis stands at the top of the standings, 21 points ahead of Bart Andrews entering Saturday’s race.

Andy Baugh of Mason City, Ill. captured Saturday night’s 20-lap feature at Spoon River. He passed Jeff Mallonee on lap five and led each of the last 16 laps to take the win over Mallonee, Davis, Dillon Morley and Andrews.
