Heres whats going on around here, a example of what you'd pray never happens to midwest sprints.
This is undisputed big block modified country. in reality nothing else matters. The two biggest names maybe ever to race a modified, are embroiled in rule infractions. Billy Pauch whom is a American racer tire distributer got busted for treating his race tires. I believe they said they washed them with a citrus based soap, ok. Hearns won a $ 5000.00 to win race at Orange co. in NY. When it came time for tech he refused and was disqualified. Come to find out he was running a former nascar truck engine which was totally illegal. He said he ran the engine to prove a point on how corrupt the tech inspections are. uh hmmm. how do you prove how corrupt it is when you refuse to have them tech your car ? There are so many engine rules and by rules and weight rules depending on what your running no one has any idea whats going on. This is the top tier racing (sorry to say) in the N.E. |

![]() The Hearn deal, something about another racer was allowed to run an engine a couple weeks prior that wasn't in the rules, but was okayed over the phone. Somehow this inspired Hearn to pull this stunt of purposely running illegal. To me it misses the mark, because the same racer benefited twice from this and won 2 races... ![]() |

I bet no one doctored their 410 tires when that hard RR was enforced a few years back... Also known as the "Can't beat em? Join em" movement.

I'm sure theres doctored tires everywhere. Point is Pauch is a distributer of tires, it all just makes you wonder.

You don't think the distributors were giving them any extra insight on how to get em hooked up? Just cause you are a distributor doesn't mean you are clean and go by the book. It's a business. You sell guys tires and tell them how to Doctor them, they win races, and keep coming back to buy your tires. It's business, throw morals out the damn window.
