What's the best top end lube for a Lightning Sprint?

07-08 R1 if that matters.

Klotz Uplon; I took my fuel system apart this Winter after 2 years of nearly zero maintenance and it looks brand new.

Thanks.

Where do you buy?

I get mine from Earl's on Gasoline Alley; they don't seem to have a dealer list on their website (www.klotzlube.com) but you could probably give them a call to find someone near you. They do sell direct, and it's also available from Summit.

I used to carry it in stock, then when I retired, and basically closed the shop, I also found Klotz Uplon hard to find, I wouldn't use anything else, have tried them all, and have had problems with them all, except Klotz, the last qt I bought, I bought off ebay, there are several that have it on there, you can shop a little and save a lot, I bought it for less then I could buy it from Klotz, when my shop was open, just sayin! Klotz is hard to beat, if your efi make sure you clean those injectors every 5-6 some lubes get gummy.

Based on everyone's recommendation I've been using Klotz.

Tonight needed to pump some fuel out of the tank. It came out pure white, none of the reddish tint the Klotz gives it.

I pumped the tank as empty as I could. Dumped it back in the barrel. Then refilled the car.

Is there a reason for the Klotz to drop out of suspension in the cell? It's been two weeks since I raced because of rain. It never occurred to me to do any fuel system maintenance in that time.

Don't think it drops out of suspension, I think the color might, and just a little shake will make it show up again, I have noticed that in the jugs, and just picking one up or moving it, and the color appears again. Bob
