Does anybody else feel that Haubstadt should adjust their schedule slightly in order for fans form Indy to get home a little bit earlier? I did not get home form there until 3:30- 4:00 Sunday morning. I was just wondering if there was quite a few people form Indy that felt the same way. Maybe start the modifieds earlier in the evening before the 7:30 race time. It seems like there was a lot of down time between practice and when the racing started. Also, i agree that the track needed a little work but felt that they went over-board on it. Shouldn't the racing program actually run only about three hours? I witnessed a lot of families with kids leave early.

You got home quicker than I did. I didnt get home till Monday morning!!

Both Sunday night races I went to were on Holiday weekends, and I didnt have to work on Monday. If I had to work on Monday morning,I might not bother going.

Its always 4 -4:30 a.m. getting home to Kokomo from Haubstadt. Especially since they are an hour behind us in Kokomo.. Just part of it if you want to go there.

I like Haubstadt just the way it is set up to run now it is still on my time back here in central IL. and it has been that way for the 21 years I have been going there.Personally I do not care what time I get back because I know I will never see a bad show at this place just wishing they add some more non-wing dates again next year. When I went back up to Oskaloosa this year when they got done racing I made it back here when the sun was coming up love the show and the format they run there. So I guess what I am trying to say if you want to go watch a race and you have to drive there and back just plan accordingly.

I think Haubstadt is on the right time, it is the rest of state on the wrong time. I don't like day races on dirt.

If anything, their late May show should start a little later for those of us coming down from the 500. . . . Although the past two years, i listened to the last half of the race on the way down.
