florida sprint schedule ques.

Does anyone know what non wing 410 shows they run in florida, if any? Not just USAC but are there other shows to go to throughout the winter? Might be a dumb question but its not even winter yet and im already ready for the 2016 season.

Not much info out yet on Florida schedules. Rumor is that USAC will run their normal 3 night event at Bubba Speedway in Ocala in mid/late February but no non-wing at East Bay this winter. You might find a non-wing PAVEMENT event at Citrus County Speedway in Inverness around that time but their program has been pretty iffy for the past few years. I haven't seen 2016 schedules from the dirt tracks, Bubba(Ocala), Volusia County (near Barberville), or East Bay (Gibsonston near Tampa) but they normally have winged sprints (WoO and All-Stars) wrapped around the Daytona 500. In the past some local tracks have hosted unsanctioned non-wings but I haven't seen anything yet for 2016. There are a few mini-sprint/TQ event sprinkled around and will probably be posted on this board soon. Normally LOTs of Modifieds etc in the area in February. Bring your coat!!

The Lucas Oil POWRi Southern States Midgets Series will be at Golden Isles Speedway Feb.3-6 for the Super Bowl of Racings GATOR"DIRT"NATIONALS then a possible show on Sunday the 7th at another track....other than BRP Feb.18-20 that will be the ONLY non wing shows in Feb.

Not exactly sprints, but New Smyrna Speedway has the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing leading up to the Daytona 500 every year. It is usually 10, or so, nights with a couple of really heavy paying pavement modified races.

Top Gun Sprints January 29 & 30.

Lucas Oil Late Models February 8-13.

360 Sprints February 18, 19, & 20.

Thanks for the reply guys. Just started running non wing sprints last year..only got 6 or 7 shows in last year cause i got started late. Was looking to get an early start on this season!
