Misc. stats, news and notes from Saturday night's "Oval Nationals" at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway

**Saturday night was Bryan Clauson's second victory of the 2015 USAC National Sprint Car season. Clauson also won at Bloomington (Ind.) Speedway on April 17.

**Saturday's win marked the first USAC National Sprint Car feature win for a Joe Dooling-owned car since May 21, 2003 when Brian Tyler won at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway.

**The feature win was Bryan Clauson's first win on the final night of the "Oval Nationals." However, Clauson has won two previous preliminary features during the "Oval Nationals:" Nov. 5, 2009 and Nov. 2, 2012.

**Bryan Clauson moved into sole possession of 11th on the all-time USAC National Sprint Car win list, surpassing 1973 USAC National Sprint Car champion, Rollie Beale. Clauson now sits just two wins behind Jon Stanbrough and Rich Vogler for 9th place on the win list.

**Saturday night's winner's share of $25,000 was the largest payout of a USAC National Sprint Car race since the 2008 "Oval Nationals."

**Bryan Clauson has won the three biggest-paying USAC races of 2015: the "Oval Nationals" sprint car race at Perris Auto Speedway, the "Jason Leffler Memorial" midget race at Wayne County Speedway and the "Belleville Midget Nationals."

**C.J. Leary advanced the most positions in the feature for the fifth time this season, leading all other drivers in that category. In Saturday night's feature, Leary started 21st and finished 13th.

**R.J. Johnson was the hardest charger of the USAC/CRA feature starters, racing to a 15th place finish from his 23rd starting spot.

**Kevin Thomas, Jr. led his first laps in a USAC National Sprint Car race since the "Indiana Sprint Week" event at Tri-State Speedway on July 18.

**Brody Roa earned his first career "Top-10" finish in a USAC National Sprint Car feature.

**USAC/CRA Sprint Car series regular Austin Williams earned his first career ProSource fast qualifying time in USAC National Sprint Car competition.

**Chris Windom won his 7th heat race of the year, while Aaron Farney won his 5th, Jon Stanbrough his 4th, and Brody Roa his first.

**Justin Grant won his 3rd semi of the season and Chase Stockon his 2nd.

**In the last three "Super Six Dash" races on Saturday night of the "Oval Nationals," Dave Darland has finished 2nd (2013), 1st (2014) and 1st (2015).
