RACE TO RECOVER

What: A special event designed to raise funds for relief Agencies of the Wabash Valley that assisted Families and continue to deal with the tragedy of the June Flood

When: Friday Night, September 12th

Where: Terre Haute Action Track

The RACE TO RECOVER will be a special 20 lap Modified Stock Car event that will be run during the MONSTER Modified Classic on September 12th. Top IndyCar Series drivers, including 2004 Indy 500 winner Buddy Rice, AJ Foyt IV, Ed Carpenter, Sarah Fisher, EJ Viso, Arie Luyendyk Jr and Davey Hamilton have volunteered their time to come to Terre Haute and race in this event.

How can you be a part of it?

We are asking local businesses to support this event by sponsoring the cars driven by the IndyCar Series stars in this race. 100% of all sponsor dollars will go directly to the relief agency designated by you or your company.

How Do I know That My Money is Going to a Relief Agency?

Your sponsorship check is written directly to that agency (i.e. Salvation Army, American Red Cross) and will be presented to a representative of that agency on-track at the race

To anyone coming, looks like another race of getting to the infield via the track. I drove by the track yetsterday and there was still water in the tunnel, about half of what it has been.
