MMSA double Labor Day weekend!

The Midwest Mini Sprint Association will be pulling another double this Saturday and Sunday over the long Labor Day weekend.
Stop 1, Saturday September 5th at Chandler Motor Speedway, the Elmer Davis Memorial race. Along with the winged mini sprints the ump mods, street, pure and mini stocks are on the racing card. In addition there will be a few vintage cars on hand to celebrate the long holiday weekend.
Also that night, the track and the MMSA group will be having a silent auction to benefit the St. Jude's children's research. Racing items, shirts and more will be available to bid on, with all proceeds going to St. Jude's. Gates open at 4:30 with racing at 7:30.

Stop 2, Sunday September 6th the MMSA group moves onto Tri-state Speedway, for the Labor Day Weekend Challenge, where they will join forces with the MSCS sprints and the UMP modifieds. Gates at 3:30 and racing starts at 7:30.

As always, support the tracks, the sponsors, and thank the racers for putting on a show, a sport that we all love, dirt track racing! See you at the track!

Wings or no wings for Tri State on Sunday? Never mind, went to the MMSA web site and schedule indicates wings.

I would love to see these guys go wingless at Haubstadt. Know last year it was discussed and I thought they said first race there would be winged and second wingless. Guess things changed.

Too bad the Chandler show isn't on Friday night this week; I would love to see them run there.

Ya its one of those deals trying to help the racer, running two shows in the area on back to back nights, vrs running Friday sending them back north to head back down Sunday!
Will be a great weekend for all involved, and the silent auction....everyone stands benefit on that deal!

All the MMSA drivers will sign and it will go in the Elmer Davis silent auction for the kids of St Judes on Saturday!
