It has been brought to our attention that individuals have posted information that STARS for 2016 will have a Chevy Ecotec only engine rule.
This is false information. It is the intent and plan of STARS to implement a 2016 engine package for any 2.4 liter or less stock block production engine that will meet the specifications that we are currently working on. This should include Chevrolet , Ford, Dodge, Honda, Esslinger and any other manufacturer who can meet the specs.
To all involved, We want to make it clear that the only persons authorized to speak on behalf of STARS regarding rules and procedures are the following: Robert Guess (President), Michael J. Guglielmucci (PR), Everett Holt (Race Director) and Glen Meyers ( Assistant Race Director). If Anyone needs information on STARS please contact one of these officials.
