AMA @ Indy Mile...

I caught the last few laps of the AMA flat track bikes at the Indy mile on Saturday via the fanschoice.tv website. The A main is archived there to watch on demand. It is worth a watch. Brad Baker was the winner & he put on an epic display of riding the high side in the corners. I've seen the bikes in person at the Springfield Mile a few times & have never seen such rim riding on a mile track. He was multiple lanes higher than the other 2 front runners in several of the corners with the dirt flying.

I was torn between Kokomo and the mile. Well I ended up at the fairgrounds and what a show it was. Those guys were going in 3 wide many times way up on the cushion and many times drafting by for a pass at the end of the long straights. They ran only heats and the mains.The expert feature was first because of the rain threat. 3 wide finish. After the 2 features they ran a dash for cash with 5 bikes. photo finish with 2 bikes. The whole show is on the net.

Your going to tell me they ran the schedule different because of rain in the area? That's something different.

they almost ran the program in reverse. they thought it was going to rain and it didn't. the main event started at 8:30.
