Midgets and Fireworks Headline the Montpelier Motor Speedway Saturday, June 27th

The Montpelier Motor Speedway Midget Series will look to get back on the track June 27th with an event featuring not only the MMS Midget Series but a Fireworks Celebration as well! Circle City Pyrotechnics, a company specializing in firework displays at sporting events, will host the firework celebration. Circle City Pyrotechnics is the proud provider of fireworks at the Indy 500 fireworks and other race and sporting programs throughout the state. The program will be catered and best displayed to race fans in the grandstands with ground and sky displays shot to the proper heights for perfect grandstand viewing for fans at the speedway.

The May 23rd Midget event saw 26 entries with 2015 Powri Winner, Spencer Bayston, adding a Montpelier Motor Speedway victory to his already impressive Midget racing resume. Bayston survived an intense battle with Davey Ray (from 20th), Gage Walker, and Colton Cottle to pick up the feature win. Ray, Cottle, and Bayston picked up heat race wins while Robby Parish scored the B Main victory. Bayston became the 17th different Midget winner at the Montpelier Motor Speedway. The Montpelier Motor Speedway Midget Series is averaging 25.5 entries thus far in the 2015 season. The Montpelier Motor Speedway Midget series is presented by the Leaders Edge of Indianapolis, Indiana.

After two MMS Midget points events, 2015 MMS Winner Chett Gehrke is tied in points with the hard charging Gage Walker followed by Gray, Logan Arnold, and Bear Woods. Brandon Gray holds a slim margin for the Rookie of the Year honors over Bear Woods, Gage Etgen, and Cole Fehr.
