Jason Hudkins the owner of Athens Archery will be giving the winner of the 410 non wing sprint feature a $700 Custom Hunting Bow. Jason has passion for non wing sprints and this is his way to show it. Thanks Jason!!

Should be a great show. With the 410 Non-Wing Sprints racing for $2,000 to win & the 600 Non-Wing Mini Sprints racing for $600 to win should be a good show for the fans and race teams. The racing this past Saturday pretty was good as the UMP Modified feature was 3 and some times 4 wide darn near the whole race. Hope it don't get black slick like it did during the USAC Midget show a few weeks ago. I know some nights this year the track surface has been less then spectacular but it has been getting better. Some of the sprint car guys might be worried about the new surface with last years race in mind after some of the asphalt started to appear beneath the clay surface. That hasn't happen this year but it has gotten a bit black slick a few time earlier in the season but a lot less lately. If the tracks holds up it should be a much improved show over last years Open Wheel Wednesday show. I got to thank them for improving each week with track prep and knowing how much water to lay down. The racing has been getting better each week and I hope that trend continues.

I was talking to a couple of the Hoosier Engineers at the USAC midget show and they say the track is one of the easiest track they have been to with no tire wear and no tire heat. That = less money spent on tires for the competitors.
