It's going to be an awesome day leading into an awesome night of racing action in the heart of beautiful, downtown, Putnamville, Indiana tomorrow as USAC Midget Week comes to LPS!

What time does track allow people in to mark seats before race? Didnt know if you could mark real early in day or if only when gates open a few hours before race. Thanks for any info and look forward to an evening at LPS tomorrow!

You can probably get in anytime between now and when they start selling tickets tomorrow afternoon around 5. For events like Midget Week they usually leave the gate open for those camping out before the race to access the latrines. I was there this afternoon marking seats and there were several already staked out. Track looked great! Forecast is good!

I'm bringing my seat with me. It's already marked off. It's the best seat in the house! Up close to the action... actually right in the middle of the action. If I don't like the view, I move. It's got air conditioning, cold water, big soft power reclining seat, a radio, a heater if it turns cold, protection if it rains, it comes with a free pit pass... those are the good points.

The bad points... racers throw mud on me all night, throw rocks at my head under caution, fling oil, anti-freeze and grease on my seat and curse at me when their car breaks.

Would I trade you seats? Not a chance. What could be more fun?
