The Midwest TQ Racing League presented by Jenmarco.com event scheduled for May 30th at the Montpelier Motor Speedway has been cancelled due to a high probability of severe weather this evening.

Track officials made the decision to cancel the races after weather forecasters predicted a 75-80% chance of rainstorms this evening. With a prediction of 1-2” of rain and heavy thunderstorms to start around 9:00 pm they decided to err on the side of caution for the safety of their fans.

The MTQRL season will resume June 6th at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbyville, Ind. Information on this event will be posted to the MTQRL website, www.mtqrl.com, later this weekend.
