Didn't have a good car all month. Indy app showed him on the brakes a ton today. Hope he gets another shot some day.

BC's problem is USAC's fault for not having pavement sprinters. There isn't enough Silver Crown pavement cars and if the only experience outside of dirt is Indy, nobody could do it. There were plenty of pavement cars at the Little 500. Why can't they race at ORP, Salem and Winchester? Shame on USAC!

It was a shame to see BC's day end how it did. Moving over for a faster car. I don't know if he'll be running tonight. He definitely had his bell rung. Didn't look like he was with it when the safety crew reached him. Hope he gets another chance. Maybe some seat time in a Indy Lights Car. Just glad he's okay!

Did anyone notice how much love Goodyear showered on BC? "After he made the race, I decided to watch some film of him driving those sprint cars. Boy can those guy's drive"!! I wonder if someone had a talk with the announcers? Then, after DeSilvestro drove into Montoya under the yellow they speculated that the reason was loss of concentration, possibly, because of a lack of experience. This was her 5th Indy 500 and her 70th start.

Anybody that has to go back and search old video's to see how good he is isn't really much of a race announcer. You would have thought with all the big wins BC has they could have done a pre race story about him instead of studying heart rates and such.

Chevy Clauson took a selfie of him and BC headed to Kokomo on Facebook.

Also a bus load of double header fans heading that way.
Good luck BC and everybody at Kokomo.

Ed Cheever was a downright a-hole on qualifying day when talking about Bryan and USAC drivers in general. Said that they had no right to go from a midget car to an indy car. Guess it's ok for some rich kid from halfway around the world to show up and pretend.

See the other thread about Cheever and Goodyear, No friend to openwheelers.

Cheever went on and on about it on Indy Radio shows as well.

I remember plenty of USAC drivers finishing the 500 and doing just fine in the early days of the IRL. Boat, Beechler, Stewart and Hewitt come to mind among others. How soon they forget!
