Not racing related but Boston Red Sox legend Carl Yazstremski underwent triple bypass surgery today in Boston. My prayers for a full and speedy recovery for "Yaz".

I have had amazing luck catching foul balls at baseball games in my life - even this year I stopped in to see the Peoria Chiefs play a game on the way to Knoxville and I as I was waiting to get in a guy hit a ball a batting practice that went out of the park on one hop and right to me ---- but the first ball I caught was hit by Yaz in his triple crown season in a game against the Kansas City A's in old Municipal Stadium - I was about 12 and at that point you couldn't have given me a thousand dollars and made me any happier -- In a conversation about all time baseball greats his name should come up far more often.

You have had the luck that I haven't.:O: I have probably been to over 100 major league games and never caught a foul ball or home run ball. I only came within a few feet just once. A Yaz ball would be extra special.:thumb
