Brian Hetrick, 2008 305 Sprint Car Champion passed away today at the University of Iowa Hospital, with his family by his side. Brian was critically injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday Night and was air lifted to Iowa City. Brian's parents, Jim & Joyce Hetrick, brother Kevin and Julie, Brians wife would like to thank the racing community for their support with emails and phone calls. Funeral Arrangements are pending at this time and will be posted as soon as available. R.I.P Brian. We will miss you always, as you are a true champion.

I am very sorry to hear this terrible news! I will definitely say a special prayer for them. For peace and comfort for them.

Thanks Susan. Just when we are getting good news about Kenny, Chad and Jeff. Then you see something like this and it just breaks your heart. He was 30 years old I believe.

Thank you for sharing this information. It is truely heartbreaking to hear such sad news. I hope that his family finds the peace and comfort from so many fine folks praying for them.:crying:
