Hello there all..We are the Throwback Racing Team...open trailer, red wagon battery cart, no atv (whimps), knock-off using, AJ Watson style nose, and no sissy side panels...pretty much the way it used to be and should be. Here are a few pics from Springfield this year. Special thanks to Chuck Snyder (Snyder Enterprise), Bob Jewell for the car, John Huss and Napa Auto Parts, and the random guys who always end up stopping by our pits and lending a hand...without you we couldn't be doing this. Couldn't get the motor to run right (possible fuel pick-up problem), but we hope to be out at DuQuoin in a couple weeks. Let us know what you guys think of the "new" look...We've been going to Springfield for over 25 years as fans and the last two as racers and are honored to be able to take part in such an historic event, hopefully it will return to the status it once had! Maybe if there were more teams like us who don't think you need a semi and an ugly new car to compete and have fun, then we could have a full field again! See you in DuQuoin...Hopefully!

Also wanted to thank Bud Doty for the use of his Pick-up truck, once again, without these guy's help we wouldn't be able to fulfill our dream of running with the most prestigious open-wheel dirt series

Nice looking car!

What ever happened to that car that Nelson Stewart drove a few years ago? It was owned by a guy named Lawson and was #115. Looked very similar to this one but it looked like it rode real low like it was a pavement car.

I sat by the spotter at the race which was the driver's brother. He said this was formerly a pavement car also. Notice in the pictures the right-hand steering. Hope your car does well at DuQuoin.
