Did USAC change their rules on tires and allow other brands to compete? Noticing a lot of American Racer tires in pictures of sprint cars down in Florida.

They were always allowed on the fronts and left rear.

I was unaware they were allowed in sprints. I know they have not been allowed in midgets. Does anyone know if that has changed for 2015?

I bet you will see a lot of cars running only the mandated Hoosier on the right rear and the rest American Racers. I just bought 2 new fronts and 2 new left rear American Racers for almost half of what it would have cost for the same Hoosiers. That's around a $600 price difference... Budget racer or not why wouldn't you try and save that money or at least buy 2 sets of new tires.

Wow! Where are you buying tires? I'm not stirrring the pot at all. I want to know. When we have bought dirt tires, the Hoosiers were always within $10 for fronts and $20 for rears.
