POWRI invades Macon and Pittsfield this weekend

Tonight, it's the POWRi midgets and micros at Macon, followed by the POWRi micros Saturday night at Pittsfield. UMP modifieds will be the support class at Macon, while Pittsfield will feature the non-wing micros and 750cc mini Late Models on the undercard.

For those attending the Silver Crown race tomorrow at the State Fairgrounds, to get to Pittsfield, just take Sixth Street (Business Loop 55) out of the Fairgrounds to I-72 Westbound ("Jacksonville" exit). Exit at U.S. Route 54/ILL-107. ("Griggsville/Pittsfield" exit) Head south on U.S. 54, then turn right (west) at the stoplight onto Washington Street (US 54/ILL106). Follow U.S.54/ILL-106 (Washington St.) all the way to the western edge of Pittsfield, then turn left (south) at the sign for the Pittsfield Work Camp. (Underwood Corner Drive) Follow Underwood Corner for about a 1/4 mile, and the sign for the track enterance will be on the left.
