The GM crate engines took a factory price increase on Jan. 1st sending the retailers into a spin of confusion between honoring quoted engine prices and dealing with the new higher costs.

As we all know costs are affected by volume and this was the next factor that retailers had to deal with in the competing market.---the Pace Performance and Race-1 team have been simply matching other retailers price on the commonly used 602 and 604 engines since the factory increase.

After a meeting today the Pace Performance and Race-1 team has once again stepped up and made our best effort toward servicing our customers.

We have locked in a pricing schedule for at least the first quarter of 2015.

Base price of a 602 circle track engine $3125

Base price of a 604 circle track engine $5400

There is a flat shipping rate of $125 but as many of our customers know we commonly deliver within our region for free.

In addition we offer “New Engine” Prep services and a dyno break-in service.

We also have sprint car options available in both 602 and 604 engines

Engines can be purchased in any stage of completion from basic “as from GM” to fully prepped and dressed ready to race!!!

Race-1 is a complete machine shop and authorized repair facility for most sanctions should the need arise.
