4 DMA MIDGETS REMAIN, SATURDAY NEXT

Only four events remain in the 2014 USAC DMA Midget series at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. and points toward the championship will become critical as the series wounds down, especially with the “double points” race on September 20.

Adam Pierson certainly is in the driver’s seat with a 140-point edge over runner-up Josh Sunn going into this Saturday night’s race. Pierson has been nothing short of spectacular so far this year, recording six wins and two seconds in eight starts!

Sunn has yet to find victory lane this year, but has three runner-up finishes so far.

Scott Viets and Scott Holcomb, third and fourth in the standings, have accounted for Pierson’s only two losses this year.
