I am still in shock and utter disbelief, as I know we as an entire family/community are. This is beyond imagination. Thoughts and prayers go out to EVERYONE involved in this situation. There is absolutely nothing good that will come of this. We ALL as a sport NEED to rally behind one another as we are, for a good while, going to be the only ones to have each others backs. We all know how strong the friendships can be. Complete strangers over time can literally become as close as family. It is a time where prayers are DEFINITELY in order. GOD SPEED Kevin Ward Jr.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Kevin a few times here or there, attending various ESS (Empire Super Sprint) shows in PA/NY. Great talented kid we lost.. he will surely be missed. Here's a picture I took of Kevin at Utica-Rome Speedway last September.
