"Gardner captures his first MMSA Lightning Sprint victory at Montpelier"

Friday nights rainfall had little effect on the racers of the MMSA, as 18 cars signed in for Saturday nights racing event. The track staff did a excellent job of preparing the surface, and the track crew got us on the road before 10pm!
Heat race action was plentiful, with Gardner, Shipman, and L. Ambrose all claiming wins. Gardner started on the pole, and once the field went green he never looked back. He was followed to checkers by AMSA regular Chase Dunham, and MMSA points leader Lynn Ambrose.
