Montpelier Motor Speedway Updates 2014 Sprint and Midget Schedules

Race teams and fans please note the following changes to the Montpelier Motor Speedway schedule:

June 7th - NRA Sprints Invaders (Added Accompanying Classes)
NRA Sprint Invaders | UMP Modifieds | Super Streets | Thunder Cars

September 6 - BOSS 410 Non Wing Sprints (Added Accompanying Classes)
BOSS Non Wing Sprints | UMP Modifieds | Super Streets | Thunder Cars

September 20 - Late Season Shootout (Midgets Added)
Midgets | UMP Modifieds | Super Streets | Thunder Cars | FWD | Mod Lites

October 11 - Outlaw Showdown III (Midgets Added)
Midgets | Topless UMP Modifieds | Outlaw Super Streets | Outlaw Thunder Cars | FWD | Mod Lites

We have rescheduled two Midget shows on September 20 and October 11 to make up for the dates lost to the track renovations and weather. Please note this on your season schedules.

Also, we did look to run dates in June and early July, but after we are purposely taking a break. June is a Midget heavy month with Illinois and Indiana Midget week along with three Powri appearances in Indiana. While it may effect only a few teams, we didn't feel scheduling against or next to the events were in the best interest of the series, local tracks, or Midget car owners/drivers within in the state. If owners choose they can freely support these events without having to choose us or them. We would love to have your support, but want the bigger picture of Midget racing in Indiana as healthy as possible.

I now understand we weren't added to the June 7th NRA show. Illinois Midget Week will draw a good number of cars that could potentially run with us. Good call.
