Action Track USA On Demand Debuts This Week With SpeedSTR’s and Micro’s On TheCushion.Com
PETERSEN MEDIA: TheCushion.Com is very excited to announce that they have reached an agreement with Action Track USA in Kutztown, PA to bring weekly On-Demand action of the unique SpeedSTR class as well as the Non Wing Micro 600 division.
“We are thrilled with this agreement with Richie Tobias and Doug Rose from Action Track USA and their SpeedSTR and 600 Micro Divisions, along with Videographer Gary Silverman, ” Ian Marvuglio President of T2 Digital said. “It’s neat to work with the famous Tobias family, and with the track running on Wednesday night’s, we are excited to shed light on two unique classes and bring viewers consistent mid-week content On-Demand.”
For fans unfamiliar with the SpeedSTR division, the series debuted at the speedway in 2013, and with city rules, the season at the track is only from May-August, and teams are eager to get back to action starting with their opening event tonight.
A SpeedSTR is 1,250lb car that looks very similar to a midget, and is powered by a 150ci Dual Overhead Cam Mopar engine. Powered by methanol, SpeedSTR’s have coil over suspension, and are powered just like the average sprint car or midget, and are very exciting on the small Action Track USA Bullring.
Paying $2,000 to win, and running on Wednesday nights through the Summer months, the SpeedSTR Class at Action Track USA gets some of the regions top drivers on a weekly basis including Billy Pauch, Kenny Brightbill, Billy Pauch, Jr, Frank Cozze, and 600 standout, Kyle Lick. Last year, Bryan Clauson, Brian Montieth, Rick Eckert and others joined in on the Wednesday night action, so you never know who might just show up.
The 600 Micro’s will also be part of the On-Demand broadcast on TheCushion.Com and the action in this class never disappoints. Like the SpeedSTR’s, the Micros do well on Action Track USA, and their 600cc engines, provide hair raising action on a nightly basis.
“We are excited to bring these two classes to our website, and hope that our members enjoy fresh coverage every Thursday or Friday through the summer,” Marvuglio added.
The season kicks off Tonight, May 14th, and fans can look for coverage to be up on TheCushion.Com by Friday at the latest.
THECUSHION.COM- Launched in 2013, TheCushion.com strives to become Open Wheel racing’s destination website for On-Demand Video, and Live Pay-Per-View race broadcasts. In 2014, the website strives to provide over 30 live broadcasts, and over 150 On-Demand videos.
