“DOUBLE POINTS” FOR SATURDAY’S DMA MIDGET OPENER

This Saturday night’s opening race of the USAC DMA Midget Series at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. offers “double” points, so it will be pivotal in the early battle for the 2014 championship.

Joe Krawiec, the defending series champ, who also won the series championship debut in 2011, will again be among 2014 title hopefuls, along with 2012 king Kevin Chaffee.

Krawiec leads the all-time winners’ list with seven career wins, while Adam Pierson has five and Scott Holcomb has four. Chaffee has won three times.
