Giving this some thought for this year. Never been to any of the tracks so that would be cool and i'm sure some of you that i know are planning on being there. What type and how many other classes did they run at this last year?

All the 2014 Illinois Midget Week tracks are exemplary midget tracks. Last Summer at Macon there were 4 support classes in addition to the midgets and mini-sprints. They were econo-mods, street stocks and 2 classes of hornets.

Even with all the support classes the POWERi shows at Macon last season were great races. I was at Lincoln but don't remember how many support classes were running there but I do remember the show went off pretty quickly at Lincoln.

Jacksonville ran 305 winged sprints with their show, and I cant remember if they ran the 600s that night or not. I arrived just in time for the National Anthem, driving over after work. I had been sick all day at work and almost pulled the plug on going to POWRi Speedweek, and I was sick all 3 days of it on top of that.

Lincoln ran a few classes of stock cars as did Macon.

All 3 nights ran last year were finished before 11:00PM CST. They had very good midget car counts of like 49,47 and 55 or so for the 3 nights. Macon was the race of the year for me last year.

Without looking at the schedules,I think the support race at Little Belleville will be the POWRi 600 series.

I get to go to a lot of races each year, but there are only a few that I cant wait for to get here. This week is one of those........

I know it is somewhat out of your way but I would consider hitting Little Belleville if at all possible. An outstanding midget track and they will be running just the midgets and the 600 cc Outlaw Micro's. It should be an exciting ending to a great 4 days of racing. Not trying to twist your arm but perhaps help you make a decision whether to stay for the finale.

Jacksonville is the only of the 4 tracks that I have not seen. I can attest that the remaining three are good midget tracks. Lincoln is considerably bigger than Macon or Little Belleville, so it is much faster.

I know what you mean Mike. Seems like a lot of events have us going the wrong direction on the last night. From what i read on the board i know Little Belleville is one exciting place to see midgets and i would like to do all 4 days but i'm losing my touch on the 7 hour ride home trips! Time will tell but we are considering it. One downfall is that this will probably cut one day off of Indiana Midget Week for us. Most likely we can only do the last 3 days of that.
