HUGE $$$ news from the Plymouth Speedway banquet last night in Lakeville, Indiana for *ALL* UMP MODIFIEDS

Track Owner and former ARCA driver Ed Kennedy announced last night after a talk with UMP Director Sam Driggers at the PRI Show a HUGE UMP Modified race was announced last night to those in attendance with some darn good money on the line.

Here's what was said.

Saturday, October 11th 2014 - (Weekend after the UMP Nationals at Eldora)
UMP MODIFIED Race Of Champions - (ALL 2014 UMP Modified track champions from U.S. and Canada)
(ALL UMP MODIFIED 2014 TRACK CHAMPIONS FROM EACH UMP MODIFIED TRACK PLUS ALL OTHER UMP MODIFIED DRIVERS THAT SHOW UP TO RACE THEIR WAY IN).

RACE Title Sponsor TBA

R.O.C. - $5,000 to win & $500 to start - 50 Laps
A-Feature non-champion Race - $1,000 to win & $200 to start (A Main will transfer up to 4 cars to the R.O.C. event)
ENTRE FEE - TBA

*NOTES*
*Champions and non-champions will have separate heat races and have up to 4 opportunities to race their way into the R.O.C. event. You will see champions in the A-Main trying to make it into the ROC event and can earn the transfer over non-champions (more details later).
*ALL DRIVERS THAT show up will have opportunities to race their way in. Weather you are a 2014 track points champions or non-champion during the 2014 season you will have an opportunity to make it into the UMP Modified Race Of Champions.
*Allowing up to 4 non-Champions to race their way in.

JUST TO CLARIFY - ALL Champions are invited include all UMP Modified tracks points champions around the county and Canada, as well as Champions from various UMP Touring series.
The champions will have up to 4 opportunities to race their way into the R.O.C. event

Details are still being worked out and additional races for the event may be added and they will be posted when finalized on our website and FB pages as well as sites such as 4m and IOW.

With Support from UMP and or our title sponsor (TBA), we (Plymouth Speedway) are very excited to announce this event!

Knowing these people and what I saw last year there could be a lot of money in the purse for this race.
