From back in 1994 it was called Saturday Night Lightning. I likely have some on them recorded on VHS.

Well my main question is... Was it Christey Lee from the Bob and tom show who used to be the reporter?

Yes it was the same Christy Lee.... I have heard her mention being a reporter at the Velodrome when Danica was a kid racing there.

Yep we ran with her when we were kids, I remember our engine builder back then kissed kristy on the couch in the infield after winning, he did it on a dare. After that they referred to him as Ed "the lover" Keller when his name came up on the screen.
