Bought a new shell but not sure of what size it really is. Is there an easy way to tell? Thanks

I can provide dimensions if it'll help identify the size. Thanks

Pat,
Throw the measurements out there; I'll measure my 16-gallon shell and maybe you can extrapolate from that. Overall height, height from top of headrest to the "shelf", overall width & overall length should be enough to get close.

My 16-gallon Fuelsafe:
Overall height-24"
Headrest to shelf-13"
Overall width-15"
Overall length-25"ish

Yours must be 27 or 31 gallons; I'd try to figure it out but my calculus is a little rusty

I wish they would mold a part number or size in the plastic.

That would be nice. Failing that, I guess you could tape off all the openings, grab a graduated bucket and start filling...
Try calling the guys at Saldana Racing Products (317-852-4193); they were very helpful when I bought a new Retro-8 bladder for my 16-gallon shell. They should be able to give you a better guesstimate on the size of yours.

Take a 1/2" dowel rod and make yourself a dip stick, you are going to need anyhow. I think the 27 gal would be most popular midget size.

I think you're right dad. Its the same exact size as my fiberglass tail cover so that makes sense.
