Rain Postposes USSA Sprints & Midgets @ Anderson Until 10/19

More than an inch of rain on Saturday morning turned the grounds to mud forcing Anderson Speedway Officials to postpone the UAW Making Strides to Cure Breast Cancer Championship event until Saturday October 19th.

Lingering hard rain combined with the forecast of additional 1-2 inches of rain in the early evening will force the USSA Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW and Mel Kenyon Midget Series to wait two weeks to determine the series champions.

On Saturday October 19 the USSA Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW and the USSA Mel Kenyon Midget Series will join Anderson Speedway fan favorites McGunegill Late Models, NASH FM Thundercars, Front Wheel Drive Oval, Front Wheel Drive Figure 8, Thunder Roadsters, Street Stocks and the Legend Cars for a full day and night or racing excitement. The event schedule for the UAW Presents American Cancer Society Making Strides to End Breast Cancer Championship Night will be announced in several days.
