Any talk at the Gold Crown if the "R" word comes. The forecast does not look good for this afternoon. If this is the same storm system that passed through Kansas City last night, the races are in jeopardy.

Because of family commitments, I could not attend all three nights of the races, but I was planning on driving up tonight. However, I am starting to question the intelligence of driving into an 80% "R" storm.

Well yea t doesnt look good at all bit im already here from last night. However last week me and a buddy went to belle clair with a 80 percent chance of rain with a race going on 3 miles from my house with 0 percent chance of rain amd saw a great show at belle clair and was home 2 and half hours away before it even rained back at belle clair. What ever u decide to do have a safe and good weekend!

Keep it clean. This is a family friendly board. No reason to use foul language.

I agree, nobody in racing likes a 4 letter word that starts with R.

The radar looks terrible. I won't leave Evansville until things appear a little more defined. After two great nights of racing, I have been looking forward to the grand finale, but I don't want to make a 370 mile round trip drive for nothing.

I think they are going to get it in. Kevin just reported on stlracing that as of now, they are racing... and the rain is breaking up. One more line to go, but so far not near as much rain as we were looking at earlier this morning.

Good luck tonight. Just can't justify making the trip with the weather looking so bad. IMO It looks like the track will get pounded between two and three. Chances are that they will able to bounce back from that, but if it rains again for the rest of the night. I am not sure that they will be able to get the track back. For those of you going, take something to keep you dry.

Good luck.

I will be at Lakeside watching the USMTS modifieds and MLRA Late Models.
