Cost of Pitpass??

I will be making my way down to Lawrenceburg tonight and was wondering what it cost to get a pit pass... Is it $30? Some friends that will be coming with me ask me last night and I couldn't answer that question.
I know for many of you attending races is just normal but with all my health problems recently, I haven't been able to really do much traveling so tonight I can't wait for my eyes to burn... and smell that methanol burning. Ain't nothing better in life... :O: |

Bill, glad to hear you are able to attend tonight. We were there last night and the sign said $30 for pit pass or $20 for the grandstands. Hope the show is as good tonight as it was Wed. night. Sorry I will not be there to meet you and thank you for this fine website!

Bill,
IF you get back over to the grandstand as the evening progresses, make a stop @ Section "A", right underneath the A. That's where you'll find probably the largest group of IOWers, sitting in the Marv Fish Pavilion. Jerry

Jerry, I plan to make that stop... back a few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting the worldly famous Marv Fish as he stopped by our pit... He's moved up in the world now that there is the Marv Fish Pavillion :O:
I am looking forward to it. |

Bill,, be careful of the group that sets under that big letter A!! They will cost you money when the 50-50 lady comes around and often the aluminum walkway is slippery from the drooling that goes on in that section!!:rolling

Bill, don't know if you are aware of it. The entrance to the pits on the backstretch side of the track only. Don't know if you can or cannot get pit passes at the main gate for a USAC show. I know you can for a weekly show.
I will see you tonight. ![]() on edit, Tom, you gave away our surprize. Not I will have to bring a woopie cushion. :O: BTW, Tom, will you be there tonight? |

Thanks, pit gate is on the backstretch. The track has really changed since the last time I was there.
Can you park on the backstretch side? I have a feeling that my legs are going to get in alot of walking tonight. |

Bill,
You can park on the backstretch. Just plan on paying an extra 10 for each vehicle. Dale |
