How is the construction coming along around Chicago? Any other spots we should look out for as we depart from the "land of cheese" late Thursday night?

Still lane reductions on I-94 and I-294 and will be for a while. If you're going at night, during off hours, there will be places you're slowed down, but you should be OK. If it's anywhere near one of the rushes, you might want to detour with I-43 through Beloit, I-39 to Bloomington, IL and take I-74 over. It's longer, but you can really fly, the whole way.

Thanks Jerry. I think we are going to leave between 11pm and midnight hoping that will avoid traffic. Does that sound like the way to go.

No help here for the Chicago area...but a little for the Indy area that may be helpful for ISW.

465 on westside of Indianapolis (north of airport) has lots of construction going on. Its managable during the day but mornings and late afternoons can be tough.

By not having Terre Haute and Putnamville on the schedule, this prob won't be as big of a deal as it could've been though.

Remember, IN-1 is still closed between I-74 and Lawrenceburg. You'll need to take I-74 to I-275 South (exit 5) to US-50 (exit 16) and take that around to Lawrenceburg.

And they started a new paving project Monday on I-74. It's supposed to be down to one lane (each direction) either between Greensburg and New Point, or New Point and Batesville.
