I made the trip from Springfield to Indy once again. Bikes were a great show as usual. Hats off to little lady Shayna Texter in her win in the Pro Singles feature. Also to Indy's own Rick Howerton, who built the Pro Twins Bike. Bryan Smith rod Rick's rocketship to the win. That bike was really fast to say the least. The photos are at www.Racephoto1.com , and thanks for looking.

I thought it was another enjoyable evening Chris. Good racing and they really make this an event. The largest racing crowd I believe I have seen at the fairgrounds in quite some time.

So many series and promoters could take a page out of the AMA manual on how to run a show. They say they will start racing at 7:30 PM and they do. They run the show in a very efficient manner with a couple of 10 minute intermissions (and I do mean 10 minutes). They ran 6 heat races, three semi features, a dash for quick qualifiers and two feature events and we were walking out of the grandstands at 10:30 PM.

The announcing team also has found a way to introduce the drivers and starting positions when it is quite and you can hear that information. I have attended a number of AMA shows and they seem to pull this off each and every time. They seem to have found a secret that very few tracks or series seem to be able to match.

Also their app for smart phones is really good! Every track and sanctioning group should check it out! AMA Flat track live.
