$400 To Win Honda USAC Ignite Midget Dirt Week Title!

It's time for Honda USAC Ignite Midgets, Dirt Week, Presented by Indy Race Parts!

The guys and gals are ready to hit the dirt for 3 big nights of action for that will feature a $1,000 point fund if all 3 nights are completed without the "r' word. Should one night not get in, there will still be a $750 point fund for the competitors to chase.

In the hopes of rewarding the best racers that participate all 3 nights, the point fund payout has been changed. It will now be an extra $400 to the highest point getter for the weekend, with $300 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd, and $100 for the 4th place finisher! The top 3 will also receive some nice hardware:

Current point leader Gage Walker will be fighting to keep his 24 point lead over veteran, Toby Alfrey. Stratton Briggs, Katlyn Leer, Cooper Clouse, Austin Nemire, and Johnny Heydenreich as they try their best to close the point gap!
These races will also be co-sanctioned with the KMML and should attract experienced competition from Kurt Mayhew, Patrick Bruns, SET Racing, and the return of "Nuclear" Nick Corea!!

The excitement begins Friday August 16th at Gas City Speedway, followed the next night at Lincoln Park Speedway in beautiful downtown Putnamville, IN, and wrapping up Sunday night the 18th at Vermilion County Raceway in Danville, IL as part of the Kickapoo Clash!

A good field of cars are expected, so come out see the future as they learn their skills against some seasoned vetrans during the Honda USAC Ignite Midget Series Dirt Week presented by Indy Race Parts
As an added bonus, you will see Sprint Cars all 3 nights as well!!

Bummed to let you know that Nuclear Nick Corea won't be making his return to the cockpit this weekend.
A major engine issue was discovered late in the week, on the car he was scheduled to drive, and it cannot be repaired in time for this weekend.

Hopefully Nick can return at the next Honda USAC Ignite Dirt Midget shows Sept. 6th at Kankakee, and Sept 7th at Macon!
