Which should I go to Saturday, can see positives and negatives in both. Pretty much same driving distance either way for me. Thought I'd see what the IOW's take on it is. Thanks

I've had many enjoyable nights at IRP. If you like pavement racing, catch it while you can.

Have you previously been to both places?

Watched POWRI midgets at Macon before and watched Truck race at IRP back in the day as far as past experiences.

If you want to see lots of cars, Macon would be your choice. There were 34 sprints at the opening race for MOWA at Highland on Wednesday. In addition to sprints at Macon, they will have 5 other classes: Modifieds, Street Stocks, Outlaw Hornets, Stock Hornets and 600cc Mini Sprints. Tony Stewart is supposed to drive a sprint at Macon also. I don't believe that there has been any sort of list for who is going to be at the USAC show, and that may not be a good sign. If you haven't been to one of the tracks I would recommend you go to that one. If you like to take pictures, you can shoot from the infield of Raceway Park and get some good ones, as well as candids in the pits. A pit pass at Macon doesn't cost that much more and you can roam the pits getting good candids, perhaps even of Tony. You are much closer to the action at Macon but the seating at Raceway park is more comfortable. I have seen good races at both and not so good races at both. Two totally different types of facilities, two totally different types of cars, just boils down to what floats your boat more.
