Racing around New Castle Sunday August 4th

I need to be in New Castle for a work related item early Monday August 5th. Since New Castle is a 3 1/2 hour drive from my house and I don't want to leave at 4 in the morning, I was thinking about heading up the day before. I was thinking of trying to go to Kokomo to watch some racing the night before, but I checked their schedule and they are not racing that evening. Does anybody else race on Sunday in that area?
