33-34 Chevy Modified at Kokomo/Bunker Hill

I own a 33-34 Chevy Coupe modified that ran at Bunker Hill and Kokomo back
in the 50's-60's. After that I am told it sat in a field for many years and was sold to a Mike Glanz of Kentucky around 2003. He says he bought it from a car lot in Kokomo that specailized in hot rods/ vintage cars. Mike took it down to Kentucky, put it back together and it won a few races down there. I bought it from him in '05 and am currently running with the V.A.R.C here in Ohio. I am trying to find out the history of the car, previous to Mike owning it. The only clue that I have besides it ran at Bunker Hill and Kokomo is that it had the #8 on both sides in the form of a eight ball. Also, the right side door was cut out in a half moon that extended about halfway down. It has a late 40's Chevy 1/2 ton truck frame with straight axle. Don't know what it had for a rear end or engine, but it's currently running a 350 4bbl with a th350 trans. If anybody has any info, please let me know. I would love to see pictures of it back in the day, and talk to anyone who knows about this car and it' driver. J.Foose Medina Ohio #00 |

This might take a while, but here is a link to a TON of pics from back in that era. Mainly Indiana and Michigan, so that will narrow your search a bit. Good luck!
