RONK, SCHAEFER TAKE 600 VICTORIES AT PLYMOUTH

Billy Cribbs and Garrett Saunders head into Saturday’s USAC 600 Sprint races at Plymouth Speedway as the respective series point leaders but neither was able to win last Saturday.

Cribbs was fifth in last Saturday’s Open feature, while Saunders was third in the Restricted main event.

Craig Ronk and Nicholas Schaefer won Saturday night’s Traxxas USAC 600 Sprint races. Ronk passed Eric Saunders on lap 14 and led the final seven laps to win the Open class main event. Schaefer passed Nick Katrakis on lap eight and led the final eight laps to win the 15-lap Restricted feature.

Ronk was trailed by Saunders, Randy Shilling, Dawson Stealy and Cribbs. In the Restrictors, Schaefer was trailed by Katrakis, Saunders, Bud McCune and Matt Frisbie.
