BOSS Set to Invade Waynesfield Saturday Night

The Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series is set to roll into Waynesfield Raceway Park tomorrow night for the Dick Spencer Memorial event where the BOSS travelers will battle the always tough WRP regulars from their Best Performance Motorsports non wing sprint division. Tony Beaber of Gibsonburg, Ohio will lead the warriors of BOSS into battle holding a slim 21 point lead over Evans City, PA driver Brandon Spithaler who will be piloting the #57B Superior Tank & Trailer entry of Tom Burkey. Both drivers have one victory on the season and third in points Mike Miller of Wapakoneta, Ohio is well within striking distance and may be the most consistent of the points runners so far. Kirk Jeffries, Chad Wilson, and Aaron Middaugh are also all within reach of the points lead with a few solid runs in the next few events. Also on hand with BOSS will be series rookies Michael Fischesser of Cincinnati, Ohio, Adam Miller of McDonald, PA, and ageless veterans Chuck Wilson of Perrysburg and Johnny Beaber of Gibsonburg.

The BOSS open tire rule will be in effect, however, teams wanting to earn Waynesfield track points will need to be on Hoosier tires all night. The race will pay the standard BOSS payout of $1400 to win and $250 to start. Pill draw will be at the BOSS registration tent and there are no fees to run with the series. Bonus awards will be up for grabs in the main event courtesy of Horne Performance of Dayton, Ohio ($50 Hard Charger Award), Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine and Fabricators of Forest, Ohio ($50 Hard Luck Award), Ernie's Radiator Repair of Ashland, Ohio ($50 Steel Block Bonus), Hoosier Race Tire Midwest (Free tire to highest finisher on 4 Hoosiers), and Lias Tire American Racer ($100 certificate to highest finisher on all 4 American Racers).

Heat race events will also be paying out courtesy of our great heat race sponsors including Underground Professionals Incorporated of Ashland, Ohio who will be sponsoring heats #1 and #4. Indy Race Parts of Indianapolis, Indiana will be sponsoring heat #2, while S & H Nerfs of Piqua, Ohio will pick up heat #3 and Ham Signs of Dayton, Ohio will be sponsoring additional heats if needed. Heat race pay will be $50 to the heat winner with 2nd and 3rd getting $30 and $20 respectively.

For teams traveling to the event, pit gates will open at 4 pm and pill draw will close at 5:40 pm. Pit passes will be $25. Some pit spaces are reserved so please work with WRP staff to find a pit spot. Mufflers are not requires for this event. Racecievers are required and the yellow transponders are also required.
